The artist collective Ore Arts will present their short film “Skin Politics,” which was inspired by a chapter of the same name in Grada Kilomba’s book Plantation Memories. In the film, the artists ask – how do we see Black people in the cultural landscape today? How did we get used to this cultural scene and why? How do we want to be seen by cultural institutions? The short film presents a critical analysis of the art and cultural scene in Germany today.
